First City Art Center (FCAC) is a non-profit art center in Pensacola, FL engaging the community through a broad range of workshops, classes, studio spaces, gallery exhibits, fundraising events, summer camp, youth art program, outreach programs, and field trips. FCAC provides a variety of opportunities for people to interact with art. They offer classes and workshops in glass blowing, glass bead making, stained glass, sculpture, pottery on the wheel, hand-built pottery, drawing, painting, and various other mediums. They are the only public glassblowing facility in Northwest FL.

The Pensacola Museum of Art presents engaging cross-disciplinary exhibitions, educational programming, and holds a growing collection of modern and contemporary art of the nineteenth, twentieth, and twenty-first centuries. The museum aims to promote the understanding and appreciation of art and ideas to audiences in the Northwest Florida region and beyond. They aim to create dialogue between university and community audiences to cultivate experiences of joy, discovery, and creativity through diverse perspectives.

Foo Foo Fest is a 12-day celebration each fall with culturally creative happenings, events, and moments under one banner that attract visitors to beautiful Pensacola, Florida. Foo Foo Fest has events of high artistic and cultural caliber, delivered with a hefty dose of Southern sophistication. This year’s festival takes place Nov. 4 ‑ Nov. 15, 2021. The health and safety of the Pensacola Foo Foo Fest’s attendees, staff, vendors, and participants are of the utmost importance to the Foo Foo Fest team. ***This year’s events will be held with COVID-safe procedures in mind. As concerns around the Delta variant grow nationally, Foo Foo Fest organizers are taking all precautions possible to ensure that the health of its organizers and attendees will be kept top of mind, including the institution of COVID-safe protocols and enhancement of outdoor spaces to allow for social distancing. The Foo Foo Fest team will continue to monitor developments surrounding COVID-19 and the Delta variant leading up to November’s events and will fully cooperate with any instructions heeded for Escambia County by local and state officials and the CDC.
